ITEM DESCRIPTION
A vest with 3/4 neck, full zipper opening with orange trim and drawstring at bottom with stoppers at each side. Made in the softest fleece with windcover fabric lining in front, and an inner layer of ventilating Polypropylene mesh at the back. The vest is an excellent piece of kit to have on days when you want to keep your core warm, but a jacket is too much. Excellent for cross country skiing, running or cycling in winter, were the windproof fabric on the front does a great job of shielding you, while leaving the rest of the garment to breathe easily through the mesh and fleece. A really useful piece of kit to have!

"This is a great bit of kit. It works well with other Brynje products and also with other manufacturers' clothing. Well-made, it feels very comfortable and is pretty robust. It's lightweight and packs away pretty small.
As ever with Brynje, their is a mesh lining (on the back) and a windproof front. Designed to work well with a daysack on, it did just that, especially when the temperature dropped.
The pockets are pretty basic: the chest one will hold a compass or a mobile phone whilst the handwarmer pockets do just that - putting gloves or hats into them made the whole thing too tight. Given that this is designed as a midlayer, this is not a problem.
Size-wise, I fell between a Medium and a Large - the Large was a good fit across the chest and shoulders but was a bit too long. A Medium would have been the correct length but too tight.
However, the only issue is the price: £110 is a lot for this product. It's well made and does a great job but there are other fleeces out there which are almost as good but are cheaper. That said, it's a great bit of kit which I would recommend to anyone."
"I very much like the Polar Bug Fleece Vest as well and have found it works particularly well in conjunction with the Brynje Sprint Shirt. Doing this does tend to produce an abundance of Brynje logos although especially as the one on the front of Vest is pretty prominent!
In terms of performance, the Polypropylene mesh seems to give the Vest some really impressive thermal qualities and it was much warmer than I expected. It isn't hugely bulky or heavy so that combination plus the warmth means it is exactly what you want as a mid-layer.
Overall I'm very impressed and can see me wearing this a lot in the months ahead."
